Daffney Moore, one of the City’s planners and project managers, will be on the South Lawn of the White House tomorrow afternoon at the invitation of the President of the United States. Daffney is scheduled to be a member of an audience of Presidential Volunteer Service Award winners who will be listening to President George Bush speak about volunteering. Here in St. Louis, Daffney is actively involved with several community efforts, including Connections to Success and 100 Black Women.
Daffney first met the president back in 2004 (see the photo) — and he seems not to have forgotten her.
