Indra Nooyi, the CEO of PepsiCo, has been named one of Time magazine’s “Top 100 Influential People” for her work in making their company more environmentally responsible. I recently toured the Pepsi facility in St. Louis to see what that meant.

I was very impressed and happy to learn of the many steps that Lee Jeffries and his staff have been taking here. Lee and his 568 employees worked hard to divert 1,340,519 pounds of recyclable material from our landfills in 2007. That’s a whole lot of paper, plastic and cardboard staying out of our landfills and going back on our store shelves.
