Lafayette Square Fires

There were two fires this morning at new construction projects in Lafayette Square. I am very glad no one got hurt. The Police and Fire departments have assured me they will leave no stone un-turned in this investigation.

At this point, we don’t know what started the fires — whether accident or something else.

I have spoken to the developers of both projects. They have told me that they are determined to rebuild.

That doesn’t surprise me.
