Downtown updates, from the City’s development staff:

  • The Business Bank of St. Louis has moved into new back office space at 300 N. Tucker, bringing 30 employees from Clayton.

  • Left Bank Books, an independent bookstore that already anchors its corner in the CWE, is the most recent bookseller to consider opening a downtown branch.

  • The Roberts Co. is showing around plans for a $7.1 million rehab of 1224 Washington.

  • Mark Pitliangas is planning a new life (and great retail and residential space) for the wonderful 5-story terra cotta 7th & Olive building.
