•The Washington Avenue streetscape has received a Keystone Award from the Associated General Contractors for infrastructure construction.

•Bissinger’s Chocolates is celebrating a new national distribution deal with Whole Foods Market, the world’s largest retailer of natural and organic products. That good news will require an expansion of the St. Louis-based company. (Did you get as many boxes of Bissinger’s products over the holidays as I did?)

•The City’s Industrial Development Authority served as the issuer of $14.5 million in tax-exempt bonds for the St. Louis Science Center’s announced renovation and expansion.
