Halloween is a very popular holiday in St. Louis. In neighborhoods throughout the City tonight, costumed children and their attentive parents will be going door to door exchanging riddles for treats.

For my youngest constituents whose studies distracted them from acquiring a good riddle in time for trick or treating tonight, I offer the following:

  • What do birds give out on Halloween night? Tweets

  • Why did the vampire subscribe to the Sunday Post-Dispatch? He heard it had good circulation

  • What do you get when you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its radius? Pumpkin pi
