The headline affixed to a recent story in the local newspaper "Lofts Outside the Big City: The Best of Both Worlds" is just wrong.
The implication of the headline is that one can get the “benefit” of loft living without the “trouble” of City living.
As far as I’m concerned, the headline is more evidence that some people at the newspaper are unfamiliar with what’s great about City living and what’s really happening here.
The “best of City living" isn’t martinis and trendy coffee bars. It isn’t even the buildings themselves. The "best of City living" is the diversity of our residents and the quality of our lives.
A better headline? Simply,“Lofts Outside the Big City.”
