I had a great time at last night’s Fair and fireworks, but I’m ready for more with tonight’s main musical act, Anthony Hamilton.

For those of you without kids to up your hip factor but a strong desire to be part of a great Downtown event, here are some thing you might recognize: Hamilton made a guest appearance on Buddy Guy’s 2005 record "Bring ’Em In", contributed vocals to a cover of Bob Dylan’s "Lay Lady Lay", and covered Al Green’s "Tired of Being Alone" at the 2008 BET Awards. (You may also recognize Hamilton’s hits, "Charlene" and "Can’t Let Go" from their local airplay.)

I’m confident that Hamilton and St. Louis will both put on great shows tonight.

Check out Hamilton (and your City at play), beginning at 8 pm on the Budweiser Main Stage near Soldiers Memorial.
