Each year, it has been my pleasure to recognize the contributions made by the City’s businesses on the occasion of the City of St. Louis Business Celebration Luncheon.
This year’s sold-out iteration will be held on Friday, September 22, in the Majestic Ballroom of the Renaissance Grand Hotel. We’ll be finished before 1:30 pm, because the emcee knows what she is doing.
The business establishments we are going to celebrate are a diverse group. Some of these businesses have renewed their commitments to the City, expanding their locations and adding jobs. Others are entirely new to the City. And some are businesses in fields that just a few years ago did not even exist. Some are manufacturers, some are retailers, some are scientific enterprises, and others provide creative, legal and other services. They are from Downtown — and from many other City neighborhoods
All of them help make our City the thriving center of commerce for the entire state.
