The American Federation of Teachers, a teachers union, announced recently that it will spend a million dollars nationally to help public school systems fund education reform projects, including charter public schools.
This is a positive development.
Locally, employees of the Construction Careers Center, a charter school, are represented by AFT St. Louis.
