Taxi Drivers

From the St. Louis Taxicab Commission:

The St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission has declared Wednesday, June 25, 2008, Taxi Driver Appreciation Day.

The event will take place from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the entrance to the Convention Center on the Circle Drive on Washington Ave. between 7th and 8th Streets.

Each attending driver will be served coffee and doughnuts and will receive a “goodie bag.” Drivers will also register to participate in a drawing for a free tank of gasoline.
